A Morning Psalm from my heart this morning.

My heart is full as I lift up a morning psalm to You. If I fail to grasp the simplest of Your blessings, Lord, You still sing a victory song over me.

When you draw me, my soul seems to run and dance with You. Without You I would be as all others, still searching for what I knew nothing about.

You show me “pictures of more” in the night and whisper “words of wisdom” in the day, making me more dependent on you – for which I am grateful. I know I cannot do this for myself, but You have set Your LOVE on me, setting me free from the enemy’s snares.

I am setting my focus on You and begging for more.

You promise me the fullness of this great relationship, forged in spirit and soul. You hint about depths of spirit yet unknown and I consider them as necessary as the air I breathe; knowing You will reveal more of Yourself as I am able to receive it.

My impatience is birthed in the knowledge that You are Truth. You never lie and what You promise will surely come to pass. So draw me even closer. Cleanse me from all that hinders this beautiful walk that You have chosen for my feet.

I love You, Lord. Thank You for all You have done, are doing and will do for me. You are amazing God. There is no other like You!
