This is the time of Tabernacles, a Feast celebrated by Jewish people. It is a joyful time of thanksgiving instigated by God to remind His people of the blessings He has given them. As Christians, we know that the feasts God required Israel to observe, point the way to what He is doing in us. The booths that they built, to remember God\u2019s provision for them as they wandered in the wilderness, helped to keep their relationship with Him alive on a personal level. They built them as individual families, not for a community gathering place and they were used to eat, pray and even sleep in, reminding them that God was involved in every aspect of their life. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These booths also remind us that God has designed a place in every man where he can meet with God. It\u2019s called a secret place because no one knows what happens there except the person and God who is talking to him. This is where the Holy Spirit speaks loudly to you and answers questions and brings peace to comfort your soul. Even a new believer experiences the joy that comes with his salvation. It bursts forth from this secret place inside of him, letting him know that something really has changed in his life. \u201cGod really is real and He is speaking to me!\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s in this secret place, a place designed by the Father specifically for each individual child, that you feel His Love for you. Here you can find all the answers you need to walk with an understanding that surpasses any of the situations and circumstances that you contend with, but most of us haven\u2019t learned to access it. We know it is there, but how do you connect with it?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The good news is that God is releasing a fresh anointing for all of us to enter and to meet with Him in our own personal Secret Place. It is the Anointed Knowledge of His Presence and as He releases it in your life, he draws you into a closer relationship with Him. So if you have been feeling a need for \u201cMore\u201d in your Christian walk but haven\u2019t known what that \u201cMore\u201d is, begin seeking Him because He is stirring up your soul to receive!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How do you do that? It goes without saying that for your spiritual walk to grow, something has to change. You begin by spending quiet time with the Lord. What time of the day you do that isn\u2019t important. It can be before you go to bed or in the middle of the night. What is important is that you find a time and place where you can spend time with Him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Next comes the hard part. We are so used to doing things or planning things or even just listening to music to occupy our mind that it is hard to stop all of that and focus on Him but being able to hear from God means you have to get quiet \u2013 shut your soul down and come with no agendas. It might be easier to pray first or to write down those things you simply can\u2019t forget and then let them wait until later. Simply stop and give Him time to show you what He wants. Then, write down whatever you hear in your mind and trust that He is talking to you. He wants to talk to you more than you want Him to and in the process, He will find ways to let you know that He really is talking to you. That\u2019s the greatest purpose of the Secret Place, for man (the creature) to build a strong relationship with God (his Creator.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
