When\nGod shows us something
\nthat He has kept hidden until Now,
\nwe\ncall it a Present Day Truth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Excerpt from Children of Tomorrow)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present Day Truth is the understanding that God still speaks to all of His children. When you know that God is talking to you, it changes how you thought before He did and it becomes your Present Day Truth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is speaking to you and He desires for you to hear what He is saying<\/strong>. Doing so will bear great fruit in your life because by hearing His voice and applying or obeying what He is telling you, is the way you learn to walk in the spirit so that your soul grows to maturity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mind of Christ = Christ Spirit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hearing and understanding the words of your spirit brings a comprehension that causes your thinking to change so that you begin to think like Jesus thinks. This is changing you into the image of Christ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more we grow in the knowledge of Christ, the more we realize how much more there is to know. The Bible says that God keeps many things hidden until His set time of revelation. It would be the height of arrogance for us to think that we know all there is to know about the things of God.<\/strong> There are many, many Present Day Truths that He has reserved to be revealed in us, as the Body of Christ. They are things that God has kept secret until this time because they relate to what He is doing in us now. The Apostle Paul understood this when he wrote about the mysteries of God to be revealed in these latter days. He said it was a mystery (something that hadn’t been revealed before) that blindness in part had happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be fulfilled and that there would be one body of people (The Body of Christ) made up of Gentiles and Israel. It was also a mystery that Jesus was to be the sacrifice for all mankind. He said if it had been known, Satan never would have crucified Him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nPresent Day Truth of Jesus’ time was heralded from the Heavens on the\nday He was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAnd shepherds were in the\nsame country living in the fields and keeping guard over their flock\nby night. And, behold, an angel of the Lord came on them. And the\nglory of the Lord shone around them. And they feared with a great\nfear.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAnd the angel said to them,\nDo not fear. For, behold, I proclaim good news to you, a great\njoy, which will be to all people<\/strong>, because today a Savior, who is\nChrist the Lord, was born to you in the city of David. And this is a\nsign to you: You will find a babe having been wrapped, lying in the\nmanger.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAnd suddenly there was with\nthe angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cGlory to God in the\nhighest, and peace on earth, good will among men.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> Luke\n2:8-14<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until\nthat time, the best man could hope for was a bloody sacrifice to\ncover his sins so that he would be acceptable to God. From the\nbeginning in the garden, man was destined to sin and had a need for a\nredeemer. The Savior, Jesus, was preordained as God in the flesh to\nbecome that prototype for all men; man with a spirit of God alive in\nhim, purposed to bring maturity to his soul and thereby becoming one\nwith God \u2013 a tabernacle where man and God abide together as one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With\nthe birth of Jesus, God revealed that He<\/strong>\nwas not the angry vengeful God of Wrath that no one could please, but\nwas taking upon Himself the ministry of reconciliation, so\nthat by His own death, all men could be redeemed and that this was in\nthe Father’s Plan all along.<\/strong> \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God’s\nPlan for Man didn’t start when He made Adam in the garden. Before\nanything was made, God perfected his plan inside Himself and insured\nthat everything would happen as He purposed it. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When\nHe created Adam and said that it was good, it wasn’t that Adam was\nthe epitome of what man was to be. On the contrary, he was the\nprogenitor of the human race, the first of his kind, but he was only\na preliminary form of what man was to ultimately become. In fact, we\ndon’t know exactly what Adam was like or what he lost when he ate\nfrom the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We do know that the\nperfect relationship he had with God before that time was broken and\nGod called it death. We also know that as great as it was for him in\nEden, our destiny is to become more than he was at the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam\nwas created by being formed as a man from the dust of the Earth. \nThen God breathed into this body \u201cthe Breath of Life\u201d and Adam\nbecame a living soul. As a consequence, Men are limited to this\nphysical, natural world we live in, but God’s plan is for them to\nbecome something much greater, spirit. His plan is for them to be\nsons, reflections of Him as His children.<\/strong> For that to happen\nthey have to change, so from the very beginning it was necessary for\nAdam to leave the perfect incubational conditions of the garden, to\nenter a world where good and evil are forces of change. Through this\nexperience, men develop an understanding that none of God’s other\ncreated beings have and are being prepared to become the sons they\nare destined to be. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was such a controversial truth that many have a hard time accepting it today, but the Bible is clear that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n…Not with corruptible\nthings, silver or gold, were you redeemed from your worthless way of\nlife handed down from your father, but with precious blood of Christ,\nas a lamb without blemish and without spot, indeed having been\nforeknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the\nlast times because of you. <\/em> 1 Peter 1:18-20<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\nGod has revealed more about what happened to us at Salvation, it gave\nus a better understanding about the difference between our soul and\nspirit. Now, learning to hear and obey His voice in our spirit, we\nare developing a stronger, more victorious walk in spirit. We are\nlearning what it means to be overcomers in our own lives and our\nfaith is growing because of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s\nnot that students of the Word haven\u2019t studied these things before,\nbut as we become more mature, we are able to understand more of what\nHe is telling us and Now, He is opening doors of understanding to\nprepare a people to walk as kings and priests in the Earth. Because\nof that, He is clarifying things that we only partially understood\nbefore. This means that we have to be willing to accept what He is\nrevealing Now as Truth and let it become foundational in our\nunderstanding. \n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
