God is in Control of
Everything, Everywhere, All the Time
That God is in control is fact, not a proposition. He created everything by His Word according to a plan that was formulated in the Father before the earth was formed and everything happens according to that plan. (See God's Structured Plan of Design.)
Nothing ever happens outside of that plan. There was no mistake made in the garden. When Adam and Eve ate the apple, it was a necessary part of man's development, so that he could one day walk in full understanding with God. It was not an accident that God had to scramble to rectify. There is no Plan B. Jesus is the Lamb slain from before the foundations of the World, long before the incident in the garden and if God was in control of such a drastic incident, you can be sure that He is still in control today.
God is in control. He never lost control. Everything is happening according to His plan.
God Never Changes but All Who Stand Before Him Do...
For us to really believe that God
is in control as He says He is, we have to
start believing that He
really is who He says He is and allow that
concept to replace any mind sets that we have that are
contrary to His revealed word.
It is easy to believe that God is in control when
everything is going our way. It's when our hard days
come, or we think about all the wars and disease and
nasty parts of life or the loved ones who have died
seemingly too soon, that we have a hard time seeing Him
in control. That is when we realize that He
really doesn't think like we think.
God is good, all the time. He loves us with an unending
love for He is Love and yet, He cast Satan out of Heaven
and placed him on the same earth that He gave us to live
in and called it good! He planted the two trees in the
garden, knowing they would eat the fruit He had
forbidden them to take. The result of that disobedience
caused man to live under the curse. The fruit of that
tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is still working
in us, so that we can learn to discern the difference.
Man was never meant to remain as Adam was created, but
to change into a mature Son of God.
God's Truth will always change you,
or you have missed His Truth!
Clearly, God thinks differently than we do and if we are going to understand His ways, our thinking has to change to line up with His!
